Erling Tingkaer

Since his debut in 1968, Erling Tingkær has developed in many artistic forms of expression, be it in drawing, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, sculptures in bronze and stoneware and fiber concrete, mobiles, land art and theater, and he is constantly seeking new challenges in his development.

Erling Tingkær's most significant contribution has been his many decorations in public spaces and in institutions throughout the country.

Erling Tingkær expresses himself in a figurative idiom filled with humor and quirky elements with an immediate attitude towards his audience. Especially in his decorations he appeals to physical contact with the work.
